WIFI connects but does not work #356

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. restore in itunes 7.5 to firmware 1.0.2
2. unlock and jailbreak with indy 1.3.1
3. correctly log into wifi

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I have full bars for connected wifi, with the same/correct settings as
before restore, but neither safari,mail,youtube,maps, or anything needed
internet can connect to server. Wifi settings are correct and there are
full bars, so I am in. But phone does not connect through the apps.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

OSX 10.4.10
FIRMWARE 1.0.2
INDEPENDENCE 1.3.1

Please provide any additional information below.

thank you. the unlock was easy. one little thing to fix and we're good.

same problem here. i just got an OTB 1.1.4 iphone and used iNdependence to 
unlock it.
No problem with sim unlock but i can't seem to connect to the internet using 
wifi.
but the signal strength is all bars. settings are correct but nothing is 
happening,
even to youtube.

i used iNdependence 1.4beta5 on OSX 10.4.11. 

need help ASAP...
