Winetricks problem. in progress of makin Wine Better #350

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Hey i Try to install Dotnet40 from Wine tricks and i get an error trying to 
make Wine even better i thank Most Games are missing Frame work and cuzz ima 
not able to Install allot of Games For wine like it said it self on Steam "need 
Frame work to install" or something like that But ima sure Dot-net will do the 
trick if it could work on 64-Bit Computers.  Also Installed Mono it says it is 
missing Mono but when i done installed Mono its said same stuff

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
what i got noted
dotnet40 does not yet fully work or install on wine. Caveat emptor.
Mono does not appear to be installeddotnet40 install completed, but installed 
file 
/home/darkangel/.wine/dosdevices/c:/windows/Microsoft.NET/Framework/v4.0.30319/n
gen.exe not found.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Ubuntu 12.04.3  
Wine1.7.1

I'm not sure what you're getting at with most of that. I take it that 
winetricks dotnet40 fails?

Can you try:
$ mv ~/.wine ~/.wine.bak
$ winetricks -q -v dotnet40 &> log.txt

then attach log.txt here (if it still fails).

Installing Dotnet40 Failure.
Tryed to Install it from Terminal so it can give more info whats goin on there 
TXT downthere of tryin to (install dotnet40 from Winetricks in terminal)

sorry to give u a rough time =( but all ima getting is nothin from that command 
in terminal it dont pop nothin up or show any thing. peace
mv ~/.wine ~/.wine.bak
winetricks -q -v dotnet40 &> log.txt

Lol can u do this with any program would that help ALLOT? cuzz i might need to 
know how mainly so it will help on allot of problems with me not having the 
proper info for ya guys lol =) peace. but finely found it yay

you're in a 64-bit prefix. This is a duplicate.
