ENA has issued a deprecation warning that the current version of their command line interface (which TypeLoader uses to facilitate ENA submission) will ceise to work on April 7th.
There will be a new TypeLoader version needed to work with the new version.
However, IPD has now announced a change to the way they provide the reference files, which is scheduled for mid of April. Which will also require adaptation in TypeLoader.
Since the process of building and testing a new release, especially a new installer, takes quite some time and effort, we plan to combine both of these changes into one release. Since we cannot build and test this new release until the change at IPD goes live, we cannot start this before mid of April. (We are in close communication with IPD and trying to get as much as possible of the development work done beforehand.)
Which means that ENA submission will not work between April 7th (when the ENA webin CLI stops being supported) until the new TypeLoader release (which should be done within April).
All other TypeLoader functionality (i.e. mainly adding of alleles and IPD submission) will be unaffected and continue to work.
We will do our best to keep the downtime as short as possible, and notify you of updates here.
