How to identify Joint Helmholtz Moonshot Projects

Description

The Helmholtz Association is fully committed to the UN's Sustainable Development Goals. In this session we will briefly highlight the relevance of Imaging in future developments of large scale scientific projects. We will discuss ideas and infrastructure for supporting moonshot projects where scientists jointly tackle burning topics, aiming for high scalability and impact. This can include but is not limited to Frugal Science and Citizen Science approaches.

Potential subtopics:

infrastructural challenges and solutions for forming large scale project ideas
infrastructural challenges and solutions for conducting moonshot projects
planning of events / methodology for supporting and developing a community and infrastructure
strategies for collecting and connecting existing relevant fields of research / communities
