If it also works for you, we can migrate the branch into the main branch. For the view.settings it might make sense to have the fixed color for a tool and then use makers and line styles for further modes as default, which is the fifth option at the moment.

Nice! Works great!

We could consider doing the fixed color/marker/linestyle on the different datasets instead of on the different tools. For a comparison between HS2 and Bladed it works great now, but if we would compare different datasets of the same tool we would have the same problem. -> I opened issue #36 as future enhancement.
