The idea is to save all information of a layout, such that _campbellviewer -d database.nc -l mylayout.cvl gives the exact same plot as the one which was saved during an earlier session.
Settings which have to be saved:
Which modes of which dataset are plotted
Characteristics of the Line2D objects? -> which curve in the plot has which color/linestyle/marker etc.
