The view_cfg.selected_data list is not correctly updated if a name of an item is changed in the tree model. Possibly also incorrect updating when removing items. We have to review what happens to the selected_data list if there is user manipulation of the treeview.
Reproduce: Load a couple datasets -> change one by name -> remove another dataset -> error will appear
