Remove trailing white space #1

No idea why every file is changed. Tried to get it running for 2 hours! I work on Win, have core.autocrlf set to false globally. Why do annoying things never stop? What I figured out is that if .gitattributes is removed it does not happen after a new git clone.

I just reproduced your problem. I have the same problems here. It might be caused by an initial commit with HG which ignored the gitattibutes. Probably we have to live with a one-time change all files commit :(

OK, at least I am not alone. I asked @dietmarw if he has an idea.
