Mekanism lag and problems with client side

So Mekanism is server side making heavy lag, and if we remove it then people also have to remove it cause of this: http://pastebin.com/J77bK5C4

Please make Mekanism for now Optional or remove it, we have IC2 and Dartcraft anyways, please omi, people complain like hell, not just here, also on the Mekanism thread :(

Yes it does cause heavy server side lag. If removed we always have to remove it on client side. Which is a pain because you have to go into the files to remove it manually and it generally loses 2-3 fourths of the server population.

Ye cause people just cant read, so we lose about 75% of our players :(

The configs need to be changed to accommodate this, of course, as nobody can join that has mekanism if we remove it. Mekanism is a great mod, but it just doesn't work on a large scale.

+1 The only thing I intended to use from Mek is the Atomic Disassembler. All the rest can be substituted...

Well, the ore quintupling was nice... But completely overpowered.

Vymajoris I totally agrees I would love it that could stay but its causes soo much lag D: please make it optional because if its removed then lover 80% of people will leave because we went from 5-10 average to 20-30 :D but if we just remove it form the server we will go back to old ways :(

If thats necessary, sure, remove it, about ore quintupling its almost impossible for large scale, trust me... You should move mod to optionals or resolve that joincrash on server when mek is missing...

Also, the fact that most new players are French means they may not understand the messages to remove mekanism from their client, and will ignore it doubly.

Mek is an annoying mod as it cuses severe tps lag and when it is removed from the server it goes from 40➕ to around 10 which removes half the fun from playing multiplayer. There are other mods that can replace it but people always go for the laggy mods which ruins the fun for everyone else.

I entirely agree with the proposal here.

Mekanism, as it currently is, causes huge TPS-drops (=lag) due to inefficient coding. As such a heavy-traffic server, like ours, can't handle it. As a result of this, the server becomes nearly unplayable.

I've already informed the mod's author via the Minecraft forums about this, and am awaiting his response. (http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1361286-164-mekanism-v605-universal-cable-balloons-5x-ore-duplication-jetpacks/page__st__900#entry32255639)

Go into intances then go in dns pack go in the mods folder and search mek and delete it but if you want to play the dns flowers server you need to keep it on there :)

Omi not being rude but can you try to get this sorted asap because the server is beginning to stop being fun be becoming a tad annoying, but i asume your a busy guy and you are proberly working on it atm :) thanks for your time
