Request to Update ONRR's Rules & Regulations Page #1130

Hello,

Please update ONRR’s Rules and Regulations web page located at: https://www.onrr.gov/Laws_R_D/index.htm

Under the bulleted list of ONRR rulemakings, please create a new bullet directly under “AA27: ONRR 2020 Valuation Reform and Civil Penalty Rule” that reads as follows: “AA26: Consolidated Federal Oil and Gas and Federal and Indian Coal Valuation Reform; Reissuance of Regulations”

For the new AA26 page, please add the content below: “Consolidated Federal Oil & Gas and Federal & Indian Coal Valuation Reform; Reissuance of Regulations

30 CFR Parts 1202 and 1206

Abstract: ONRR is re-issuing certain regulations associated with the valuation of Federal oil and gas and Federal and Indian coal to implement a March 29, 2019 Court order that vacated ONRR's 2017 repeal of those regulations. These republished regulations implement the Court's order by recodifying the regulations that were in effect prior to the vacated rulemaking.”

At the bottom, please add a bullet that reads: “Final Rule: 85 FR 62016 (October 1, 2020).” For the “85 FR 62016 (October 1, 2020)” language, please incorporate the following hyperlink: https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2020/10/01/2020-20560/consolidated-federal-oil-and-gas-and-federal-and-indian-coal-valuation-reform

@mcharg can you update the wireframe with this update, @daniel-coleman-1 along with working this issue, can you update the sitemap with this update as well.

@cthomasONRR Is this related to #1127?

@mcharg We definitely need the 1989 Coal Rule in a separate webpage. AA26 is about reissuing the 2016 Valuation Rule. The whole Coal issue is that the courts ruled that the Coal part of the 2016 Valuation Rule is not legal, and they have to go back to the 1989 Coal Rule. Hope that makes sense! I can explain more clearly at out 1pm meeting.

Screenshot 2021-10-25 123405 @jlouis-onrr @mojobnichols I copied the AA27 page and edited it but can't seem to find where to edit the "RIN 1012-AA27" pathway to "RIN 1012-AA26" is that Java, or populating from somewhere? Otherwise good to go.

@aklong09 the requested changes have been implemented in the dev site: http://2017onrr/Laws_R_D/index.htm http://2017onrr/Laws_R_D/FRNotices/AA26.htm with your approval I will push the changes live.
