In splitters (issue 6), we suggest creating the function get_state_inventory. Later on, we revise the target nwis_inventory to get a new set of commands.
Hayley did it in such a way where the commands were in the _targets.R file (no function) so this was not an issue. But Jared wrote a separate function, and pointed out we never give instructions to clean up and delete that function. Should we add this as a task?
