Lots of edits for clarifying language to make sure people won't get stuck. Didn't come across any issues with the mechanics of the course not working. Fixes #3. Going to move ahead without fixing #8 for now.

Not waiting on a review for this one - everyone is too busy and most reviews will take place while people actually take the course instead of in the PR with course changes.
