Consider creating formal code releases #103

Also, perhaps we should use releases after big edits. We are probably at 1.0 now.

I haven't used releases much in my own work and so I'd appreciate input on whether that makes sense for this repo. I've leaned toward not releasing formal versions because I hope that this repo won't be edited often. I've also wondered how releases affect the "use template" functionality, if at all.

Update: Let's go for it! I created a v0.1.0 release that represents the first version of the pipeline that is considered complete for others to use. I plan to merge one more PR that deals with site attributes, then I'll package up the code that includes the changes since Sept 1, 2022 and update the changelog to include the release numbers.
