I'd be curious to know how hyRefactor output compares to the ENHD data (https://doi.org/10.5066/P9PA63SM).

.. and also to these similar toolsets:

Hi @jsta -- sorry to be slow here -- was out on family leave.

ENHD is largely updates to the NHDPlusV2 network topology. I am actually using that in this project https://code.usgs.gov/wma/nhgf/gfv2.0 in conjunction with hyRefactor.

Riverdist is a toolbox for analyzing hydrographic data -- not entirely incompatible with hyRefactor but a different set of capacities.

openSTARS looks like a soup to nuts network creation utility for people who want to start from a DEM and build their network from whole cloth.

hyRefactor is focused on building multi-scale river networks and corresponding catchments that hang together and suit multiple purposes at a variety of scales. I've used hyRefactor with datasets I've built as well as with the NHDPlusV2 and HR ... so in theory all these things could be used together in workflows.

Does that help?
