Do we use idealized light curves for modeling or the GLDAS/NLDAS products? Should a spline be used to interpolate light (1 hr or 3 hrs) to the frequency of the model steps (usually < 1hr), or is a linear interpolation sufficient? Or maybe some merger of modeled and NLDAS/GLDAS-observed light?
