Setting: image format not saved - need to modify config file - "save" -> screen.png #82

Selecting JPEG Files for format does not store the format - the field is still blank upon re-entering settings. The config file contains a blank after "defImgFormat="

If I edit the config file to add "jpg" after the "=", the Format field still is blank in settings. Save As window has "JPEG Files" now for files type, but if the default file name was "screen", the offered file name says: "screen.png", and the actual file name saved is "screen.png.jpg".

Quitting and restarting ScreenGrab yields "PNG Files" again (with "screen, png" again) when saving an image.

Please note that screengrab is maintained in https://github.com/lxqt/screengrab - and please be so kind to file distribution bugs in your distribution bug tracker after checking that the bug you encounter is not filed yet. Thanks.

I do apologize for filing in the wrong place.

I do see at the end of https://github.com/lxqt/screengrab that there is a link to its bug tracker.

I do also see at the top of the same lxqt page: "Crossplatform tool for fast making screenshots. https://github.com/DOOMer/screengrab" that I probably noticed and jumped to without visiting the bottom of the page to see the correct place. Sorry.

I DO normally file with the distro first ("ubuntu-bug" ==>launchpad.

However...

If you go to ubuntu-s launchpad site for screengrab (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/screengrab) you will find exactly one bug listed. Mine. For exactly this issue. Last November (2017-11-21). For the previous version 1.96-1. Note that there are no comments on that bug that are not mine. As it appears that no one was paying any attention to that bug report (no comments; same bug appears in new version), it seemed little point in adding to that report (but I will, now, for forms sake...), so i came here. Sorry it was at the wrong place - I will re-file in lxqt's page. At least you commented - that's more attention than I have had from the other site!
