Although my Desktop and bookmarks are available in the left panel in the Browse for Default Save Directory dialog, they are missing from the Save As... dialog after taking a screen-shot.
Therefore, if I decide to store the image in a different location, there is a lot of clicking involved,
as I have a separate partition for my personal data: "Computer" - "data" - "scott" - "Documents" if I want to store it in my Documents folder..., whereas if I wanted to make "Documents" the default location, I would only need one click from the Default Save Directory dialog.
[By the way, the "Desktop" left panel button (from the Default Save Directory dialog) yields just the same garbled result as many other applications's open/load/save dialogs (so obviously not your fault!) - where are you getting the location from, please, so I can either fix it myself, or file a bug for whatever package is garbling it...!]
