Back in 2013, I gave a talk on the Assimilation Project. It seems like it would be good to give an update. Lots has happened since then, and we now have a significant emphasis on security-related discovery.
My current 1-line summary of the project goes like this:

I've just started working with the Linux Foundation to formalize a connection to them for security vis a vis the related (but separate) IT Best Practices project - ITBestPractices.info. Not sure if the is the right way to propose talk topics nowadays, but here it is anyway ;-).
