Regression analysis is a simple, powerful and extensible algorithm that represents an accessible entry point into machine learning for mere humans. This talk will cover what regression analysis is, some tools for implementing it to make predictions and categorizations, and show several examples of using regression analysis using the Google Prediction API and the numpy/scipy suite of tools.
