Email verification mail never arrives #39

I am preparing an application and one of the last things I am stuck with is the email verification process. I get the banner saying: "We sent a verification link on your email id. Please click on that link to verify your email id."

But the email never comes (not in spam either) – I suspect it is because I use a "+dpga" part in the login address like this: "person+dpga@example.com"

Since this is a valid email address I would suggest fixing it. But if that’s not that easy, is it possible to simply adjust my email to the base one so I can receive the confirmation link? (It’s hey at my account name dot net :)
