[BUG] Fullscreen crashes game on linux. #83

Describe the bug When setting to set the Display mode to Fullscreen on Linux, the game still becomes fullscreen, but crashes immediately after.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Be on Linux.
  2. Go to Settings > Graphics
  3. Select Display Mode.
  4. Switch to Fullscreen.

Expected behavior I expected the game to continue running as normal, except in fullscreen.

Additional context I am specifically on Bazzite Linux.

By submitting this, I am confirming that I have read the README and am using the latest version of Beatblock.

Is a crash log created? Also, if the game is run from the terminal, do any errors pop up?

Interesting. When the game is run on its own instead of through steam, the crash doesn't happen. (The crash still happens if the game is run through Steam with the steam overlay turned off.)

In fact, if the game is set to fullscreen without running it through steam, then it will still be fullscreen in steam. Switching to windowed and then back to fullscreen still causes the crash. (Where is the crash log supposed to be?)

wow, thats pretty weird! For crash logs, its supposed to open up a popup that asks if you want to save a crash log. If that popup isn't appearing, then its probably crashing in a weird way.

In that case there is no crash log.
