  1. Low power in this airplane in alittle unrealistic taxiing and landing i should get more power out the low rpm i have to keep the rpm at almost 2000 just to come in at 60kt on final.

  2. idle needs to come down lower to about 600-700 rpm

either than that you've done a great job on the addon and hope to see the improvements in the near future!!!

I DEFINITELY do not need 2000 rpm to come in at 60. I set up on downwind at 1500 and can maintain that all the way through to final, on glideslope into landing.

What's the altitude of the airport you're landing at?

If the airport you're at is below 5000' asl, it sounds like you're setting up your attitude in such a way that you're getting behind the curve, probably with too much nose up attitude. Are you starting from 1000' agl on downwind?

My process is 2100 rpm on downwind, 1000' agl and get the airspeed to below 80 knots indicated. Reduce to 1500 rpm when I reach the end of the runway and put in 1 notch of flaps. Add in a second notch of flaps when/after I turn onto base. Airspeed should be about 60 knots by this time. Keep your turns as square as possible while still maintaining constant vertical speed. Use throttle to control vertical speed, not attitude adjustment. Use pitch to control speed, but be very judicious here, you do not want to get into a stall situation. Then 3 notches of flaps when I'm set up on final and it's appropriate. Then I pull out power all the way as I approach the threshold, level off and flare as I cross the threshold. Performance is just like my real experience, including stopping distance.

I'd hate to increase performance at low rpm, taxiing is tough enough as it is :)
