Most Emulators Don't Support Macro mode #1721

Console Configuration: Nintedo DS Lite with Gameboy Macro Mod and r4sdhc. Gameboy Macro Setting enabled TWiLight Menu++ Version: v23.2.0 TWiLight Menu++ Theme: DSI

Expected behaviour

When launching gb(c)/nes/snes roms, displaying the game on the bottom screen.

Actual behaviour

The games still display on the top screen, which I can't change because of a broken touch screen.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Enable Macro Mode in the settings.
  2. Launch any gb(c)/nes/snes (other rom's havent been tested) game.
  3. Cry

So yea here is my sob story, the digitizer connector snapped in the process of doing the mod so I can't change the settings on any of the emulators. However if possible I think games should automatically display on the bottom screen (or at least changeable without a touch screen since a common gb macro mod includes removing the digitizer) if Macro mode is enabled. Thank you 👍

It's not really a bug. Each emulator has their method.

I use macro mode on DSi and all this method work.

Swap screens ??? = unknown

Show Emulator settings (touch bottom screen) after launching rom

Maybe a admin of TWiLightMenu, should add these methods to the wiki.
