2 years ago We have the R4 theme, which isn't the same as Everdrive does it but similar. The R4 theme is basically the nds-hb-menu but with bootstrap support, also text-based.
The menu is actually not the problem, it's actually the title module that takes up all the boot time as it does all sorts of checks before launching the actual menu. So I doubt yet another text-based theme would solve it.
From power to launch of a game I find it to be slow. I was thinking, perhaps if there was a "Text Mode" that works like an EverDrive menu or even uLaunch that would probably be faster would it? And I don't mean a mini mode with little icons and stuff. I mean TEXT. Possibility to theme the text colors (green on black, yellow on black etc). I would love for this program to launch my games as fast as possible. I don't need fancy icons and stuff like that. EVERDRIVE (the popular flashcard for consoles) is a good example of a text navigation system.
The goal is the fastest possible DSi power up to rom/gba/nds boot possible.
