  2. Go to Games
  3. Select BOOT_fc.nds and start it
  4. Start the game from DSiMenuPlusPlus
RocketRobz commented 6 years ago

Is your ysmenu folder named TTMenu or YSMenu?

niansa commented 6 years ago

It's named TTMenu. Because I have TWLoader installed on it (the side on the Flashcard to be able to boot flashcard games directly from TWLoader).

NightScript370 commented 5 years ago

@niansa does this happen on the latest version?

NightScript370 commented 5 years ago

Since @niansa hasn't responded, I'd like to know if anyone else has that flashcard. If so, reply to this issue.

niansa commented 5 years ago

Nope, it got even WORSE. Now it says that nds-bootstrap is missing, even if it isn't (/_nds/nds-bootstrap-nightly.nds).

I wish I'd have selected another card... The original Firmware fails to load a lot of firmware because the DLDI of the card is invalid (examples: dslinux, gbarunner), YSmenu crashes randomly, and TWiLightmenu doesn't Autoboot for this card and does not even work).

Additionally, the main menu tells me that bios.bin for the gba would be missing, but it is there (/gba/bios.bin)

Oh, you need to put bios.bin in the root, not in the GBA folder

About your first issue, try copying the entire _nds folder over again

hello, i would like to add my 2¢ my card (R4i-SDHC 3DS RTS) can not auto-boot TWiLight Menu++ either, (supposedly, it is a DSTT DLDI(boyakkey ver.) as of a custom build that shows the card name that Robz provided to me) if I use any of the auto-boot files (I tried them all) it will say “Menu?” With a MicroSD Card with this type face image

niansa commented 5 years ago

Yep, same problem. It does not want to load any R4.dat files except the official one... Probably it is signed.

FlameKat53 commented 5 years ago

well, I guess YSMenu is too, I wonder how we could get boot_fc.nds to be signed, oh also, it is not the size of the file, as YSMenu is a different size and I tried making the boot_fc.nds file the exact same size, and that didn’t work either

niansa commented 5 years ago

I checked it and redownloaded it, but there is still the same Problem.

niansa commented 5 years ago

I am pretty sure that the problem is the faulty DLDI of that model...

niansa commented 5 years ago

Hmm, Even GBARunner2 doesn't work. At the ROM selections it says at the top of the screen: " N IO Library" and if I start any GBA Game then it stucks at "COPYN IO Library"

FlameAlt53 commented 5 years ago

so, (alt account btw) i used a file which is called "fincs' bootstrap" which let me autoboot twilight menu++ and will be included in v7.4.0 and up, as far as i know, the "fincs' bootstrap" only works on cards that use R4.dat to boot, if you would like the files let me know so that you can try with the autobooting twilightmenu++ to reproduce your issue.

poopman97 commented 2 years ago

The ysmenu.ini file is probably write protected
