Where did you get the Chinese translation patch?

R-YaTian commented 2 years ago

It isn't an AP issue. There are something wrong with the original Chinese translation rom. You can open the original rom with TinkeDSi then save as a new file.

Here is a patch to the official Japanese version. https://www92.zippyshare.com/v/dQpCtxtf/file.html

What's wrong? Is it possible to fix on the TWiLightMenu side?

If you apply this patch for Japanese dump, the overlay file will be placed on a weird address of the entire ROM. Please open the Chinese translation ROM with TinkeDSi then save as a new file. TinkeDSi will fix this issue automatic.

@R-YaTian Hello, I have downloaded TinkleDSi-V0.9.3-x64 file, opened the Tinkle application, chosen the renamed 999 rom (match with the 999HRPERDOOR title in the plugin folder). After that, I just clicked "save as rom", and renamed it and put it into my SD card and R4 Gold. I also have a .sav file of this game. However, when I load the game on my nds using the R4 card, it still freezes. (I have R4i-SDHC YSMenu installed. I was using the rom with Chinese translation. ) May I know if I missed any steps? I really like this game and I bought a new R4 card because I thought it was my old R4 card's problem.

I have the same problem. I tried the latest commit of TinkeDSi, but the new rom file has the same problem.
