Console Configuration: New Nintendo 2DS XL with Luma3DS v11 TWiLight Menu++ Version: v24.9.1 Commit: 6de1854 (I think this issue still exists in newer versions.) TWiLight Menu++ Theme: Nintendo DSi

Expected behaviour

Booting to the 3DS app with more functions than flashcard version.

Actual behaviour

Boots to the flashcard version, so the different functions don't work. I also can't start a DSi game then. For that, i need to reboot the 3DS app to start it. For example: when i boot the 3DS app, and boot a DSi game, it works. But if i from then use the keys shortcut, it boots into the flashcard itself and it is not possible to start the DSi game, as it says that i run in DS mode.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Insert supported flashcard with TWiLightMenu++ and R4/TTMenu firmware kernel into any type of the 3DS Family
  2. Boot up the TWiLightMenu++ 3DS application from the HOME Menu
  3. Boot up a game. Try a DSi game first.
  4. Use the key shortcut to boot back to the menu
  5. Try to boot the DSi game again
  6. It doesn't work as other options!

Was it working fine before? If so, which version did it work fine in?

Minionguyjpro commented 2 years ago

I'm not really sure. I could try to install older versions, but that takes much time. I will later on take a look.

Should be nice if this is possible to fix, if even. From then, you could exit, and continue play a different game fast.

@RocketRobz, are we sure this is a TWiLight Menu++ issue? I have a feeling this belongs in the nds-bootstrap repo instead.

Oops, accidental close. Will reopen.

This looks fixed now, so closing it...
