r4isdhc.com Slot-1 Flashcard fails to launch on 3DS console #2251

TWiLight Menu++ Version: v25.11.0 TWiLight Menu++ Theme: Original R4

Expected behavior

The Slot-1 flashcard should launch through TWiLightMenu as it does on a DSi console. The flashcard being a 2020 "www.r4isdhc.com" R4 SDHC Gold Pro.

Actual behavior

The Slot-1 flashcard fails to load and the 3DS gets stuck with a white screen on top and a black screen on the bottom.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Launch TWiLightMenu from the Home menu with the affected Slot-1 flashcard inserted.
  2. Launch the Slot-1 flahscard from TWilightMenu.
  3. The console should freeze with a white screen on top and a black one on the bottom (but it should be possible to return to the Home menu).

Notes

When I try doing the same thing on a DSi XL (running TWiLightMenu v25.11.0 under Unlaunch v1.8 and firmware 1.4.2E) it works just fine. I already tried different combinations of SCFG and Slot-1 microSD access options but it doesn't make any difference.

Try re-installing TWiLight Menu++ by deleting the TWiLightMenu folder in sd:/_nds/, and installing it again.
