Not entering sleep mode when lid is closed #2276

TWiLight Menu++ Version: v25.11.0 TWiLight Menu++ Theme: Nintendo DSi + Default

Expected behavior

When the lid is closed, the console should enter sleep mode to conserve battery.

Actual behavior

The console turns off the displays, but doesn't enter sleep mode. This can be observed by the Power LED that doesn't dim or blink and the speakers that still emit a low-volume hiss.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Power on the console in TwilightMenu++
  2. Once the menu loads, close the lid

Notes

I have tried different themes and even a fresh install of TwilightMenu++ on a blank SD card, but the result was the same. When the lid is closed, the screens appear to fade to white, after which they fully turn off and the console stays in that state without entering sleep.

It would not. This issue is exclusive to TWLMenu++, and is currently normal for it to happen.
