L+Down+ select and quit game does not go back to twilight menu just goes back to 3DS menu (3DS) #2395

Flashcard or Exploits? Base Console: New Nintendo 3DS

TWiLight Menu++ Version: 27.1.0 TWiLight Menu++ Theme: Nintendo DSi normal launch

Expected behavior

when using the close and quit game shortcut the menu of twilight should launch and go to the DS game list

Actual behavior

Goes back to the 3DS home menu

Steps to reproduce

  1. Go to any game
  2. Use the shortcut i referenced in the title 3.select quit game 4.wait

Notes

I think its a bug with the new version

You mean it worked fine in past versions? Please downgrade and verify.

it worked fine like months ago, i have been updating now and doesnt work anymore the shortcut, how would i downgrade with universal update? thats how i have been updating the launcher

You'll need to follow the manual method instead of Universal-Updater. https://wiki.ds-homebrew.com/twilightmenu/installing-3ds?tab=manual

When you see step 1, download an older TWLMenu++ version.

Depends on which version you used prior to this issue occurring. If you don't know, then downgrade to each prior version until the bug is fixed.

ok its probably gonna take me awhile but i will first put the new version manually and then downgrade until i see if it works thank you

nvm ok so i downgrade to 27.0 choose system language and EU the opened in the twilight the roms folder with nds games and played game and closed it by quit game and still nope went to 3ds home menu

Have you also updated Luma around the time you updated TWLMenu++?

my Luma version is 13.0.2 or so i though also i updated again twilight after installed in Universal updater luma just in case and clicked confirm in extracting roms cause it was recommended and TLDR: after i installed again Luma and twilight in universal update now it works the shortcut idk why it never asked me to update Luma with the arrow symbol in universal updater. Sorry for the trouble seems to be fixed now :)
