Widescreen patch not detected, cannot select Aspect Ratio

Expected behavior

When I press Y on the desired game or open the TWLMenu++ Settings, I should be able to select a desired Aspect Ratio

Actual behavior

I am not able to choose any aspect ratio, it's stuck in 4:3

Steps to reproduce

1.Follow the installation guide here (performed on the flashcard sd) 2.get absolutely nowhere. :P

this is probably happening because i have such an obscure flashcard logs are unhelpful log.txt

I may have to add that I set up my Flashcard with the following: Autoboot: Ace3DS+, Ace3DS X, R4iLS, r4isdhc.com.cn cards, r4isdhc.hk 2021, R4infinity 2, R4i-XDS 2014 white version Flashcard Loader: R4iLS

How are you launching the flashcard?

I don't know how to tell you that except for that i insert the flashcard into the 2ds and launch it from the home menu and this is how the root file structure of the flashcard looks like if that helps you

That's why the screen aspect ratio setting doesn't appear then. You need to turn on auto-start Slot-1 on the SD card's TWLMenu++ Settings, as well as the SCFG access for Slot-1 setting. After that, you must always launch TWLMenu++ from the HOME Menu, not the flashcard itself.
