Flashcard or Exploits? N/A Base Console: Original Nintendo 3DS (Sys 11.17.0-50U), Luma3DS 13.2.1

TWiLight Menu++ Version: v27.12.0 TWiLight Menu++ Theme: Wood UI + Any Wood UI Theme

Expected behavior

These Wood UI themes should load instead of using the default theme that looks like it's from The Legend of Zelda

Actual behavior

Default theme that looks TLoZ-like is shown, even when a theme is selected

Steps to reproduce

  1. Install themes from Universal Updater TwiLightMenu UniStore
  2. Set to Wood UI > one of the themes
  3. Go back to menu and see TLoZ theme

Notes

I have tried 8 different themes and none of them work.

This is an issue with how Universal-Updater installs the skins, not TWLMenu++ itself. You'll need to install the skins manually from the TWLMenu++ skins website.

I see. It seems like Universal Updater puts the actual theme in a subdirectory which confuses Twilight Menu. I was able to use a homebrew file manager to move the files and then set the themes without issue!
