Lab 06, Pt. II, Q1 #13

Hello,

Q1 asks for the impact of the outlier "A". This is the plot visualizing the outliers in the lab template:

Looking at this plot, I would say that A is not an outlier and therefore does not impact the slope or the standard errors. However, when I look at the plot from the lab instructions, "A" certainly looks like an outlier:

Should I interpret the impact of outlier "A" based on the plot from the lab template or from the lab instructions?

Sorry, I meant use the version in the instructions please.

It’s using a random sample so when you recreate the graph in your template you are changing the graphic.
