R Session Connection Failed #6

I had a few projects open in R Studio. I was finishing up my documentation in the "montyhall package" file when I wanted to check what results are produced by play_game() in my lab-02 file. When I tried to run chunks in that .rmd file R freaked out on me and said I had to restart the session and now this is my screen

I am panicking because I never saved any of my changes to the "montyhall package" and I've been working on it for the last 2 hours. How do I move past this screen and get back all of my work?

I’ve never seen the screen before, but R Studio should create backup files while you are working. Did you get your file back?
