@natalialuzuriaga Apologies for the confusion, we actually do want to use LICENSE.md still, we just want it to be the 'vanilla' version of the CC0 license, so that GitHub can automatically parse it, and auto-populate the various sections of the UI with it so it's clearly visible without having to click on the file directly, and provide a nice LICENSE breakdown page (see attached screenshots for an example.) This also helps with license representation for global metrics, and other potential compliance related work later. We can then take our 'custom' LICENSE introduction language and add that to our README, and then point to the LICENSE directly from there.
