11ty 2.x has built in asset pipelines. See https://www.11ty.dev/docs/assets/

Remove the need for webpack
Revisit package.json scripts
Ensure that bundle.js and main.js are compiled into a single js file
Consider asset fingerprinting to cache bust is needed or not
