We can improve the user experience for the model-explorer tool:
Spin up time
Currently if one is interested in opening a model-explorer session then one needs to get to the project of interest and do several clicks more in the read-only session component. There needs to be a faster way to get into a model-explorer session, preferably from the front page (sessions) just like with any other model-tool.
Bugs
The session is displayed as available (green) and as soon as one is opening it, one is greeted by a 504 internal server error. A refresh fixes it. So just add a grace period until the session is reachable.
The diagram-cache isn't used in the model-explorer at all:
Careful: The tool allows to choose feature branches (different than main) so the correct diagram-cache needs to be picked and passed to the capellambse.MelodyModel
Ideas
In order to compare models with each other, being able to spawn multiple read-only sessions for the model-explorer with different models would be very nice. Users want to look into other model reports for inspiration.
