Not working Plugin #418

Hello

I got Spigot 1.7.10 on my Server and was looking forward to one of my favorite plugins to get updated. Finally the latest version.. so i installed it immediately.

Unfortunately the jar doesn't build a file after restarting the server...

could you please help me??? i tried it several times :/

Closing - duplicate of #413.

Try using a Spigot 1.8-compatible build for now :)

Fixed in https://github.com/DSH105/EchoPet/commit/2d56e53e0e0fb9494b7ecb319a4271dacebc494f. Build number 20 should work on Spigot 1.7.10 now.

Hey :)

I updated the latest Spigot Version as you told me... with the link you sent me. I had no errors and the CPU got down 50%. Goregous!!!

So now i reinstalled Echopet... :( but still it does not build a File...!! I got WorldGuard 6.0 as recommendet .. what else should i do??

Are there any new errors? Have you tried the newly built snapshot as of the above commit?

There are no Echopet Errors... the Echopet.jar is just ignored.. :( and yes.. as i said i updatet 1.7.10-R0.1-SNAPSHOT as you recommendet me.

22.10 09:47:05 [Server] INFO So you might also want to let your players know that if they plan to change their name later, they should join at least once before name changing gets enabled in order to 'reserve' their old name for later player-data-conversion (so that not somebody else gets their old data assigned later).

Make sure you're running the latest Spigot patch.

But then again... you promise on Echopet bukkit.org that this plugin works with EVERY system from 1.6.4 to spigot 1.8... so why not with me???

Simply because Spigot blocked EchoPet from loading (which is why I said use the latest build).

The thread I linked details the new update mechanism that the Spigot team has introduced and how subsequent updates can be installed. The latest of these updates (at this point in time) is available on this thread.

Posts are usually made on the front page when a new update is available :)

ok... i updated the snapshot and i updated the patches... i got the absolute latest spigot server!! i done everything you asked me to... but honestly .. it still does not work.. no error, no entpacking... nothing -_-!

I've given you the answer to your problem. I am aware that your server is not on the latest patch as it is clearly noted that the blacklist was removed in this patch here (which solves the problem you are experiencing).

I know im annoying -_-! sorry for that... but i got a further question...
Do i have to install ALL 8 patches one after the other OR is it sufficient only to install the latest version???
