Would it be of interest to present file format data to your user community? We are creating machine-actionable metadata about file formats in Wikidata. All data is CC0.

This looks like a typical (and very welcome 'external resources' content example that we are looking for. Typically under data format Q pages...BM

Here is an example query written for the Wikidata Query Service SPARQL endpoint that will return info about file formats: http://tinyurl.com/yb2p62px

If there are specific types of information that might be of interest to your users, I'd be happy to write additional queries and/or add more data to Wikidata.
