If you redo your stats using the gen comp, it doesn't reset your stats to 6 (or whatever it starts at for different races) it keeps the stats you had when you made your character. So you could theoretically have 20 strength, and then it gives you all your stat points back while redoing stats and you can keep adding onto that 20 strength.
