Set meeting with Leslie Groer and Canadians to discuss changes in job submission to CA_SFU and CA_VICTORIA #155

Grid canada is changing their security model, this will have impact on how DUNE submits jobs, we need to set a meeting with Leslie Groer.

Hi All,

The Digital Research Alliance of Canada has been working on enabling multi-factor authentication using DUO for all the Compute Canada sites that support research computing. The plan is to enforce this permanently starting April 15 for all user activities which will affect the current job submissions coming in from OSG through HTcondor glideins. This will affect LIGO/IGWN, IceCube, DUNE, GlueX, and ePIC production. To avoid the issue of MFA, we have specialized "robot" login nodes set up at each site to allow limited automated activities, such as ssh via keys for the pilot submissions. The node you should be using for glideins is robot.cedar.computecanada.ca. Could someone please inform the maintainers for the various factories and alert us if there are any issues.

That's the initial E-mail. Leslie has suggested April 4 and April 5 as target meeting dates.

sent Leslie a starter e-mail it appears the issue is that we submit our glideins via ARC jobs as we always have, but it appears that we may not really have been supposed to be doing that all this time.

This meeting was had.. they are working on setting up 250TB of dcache for us and they will change the default user under which we run at Cedar a.k.a CA_SFU. No action required on our part.
