How to determine handbrake command line options? #10

I would like to use the transcoding machine to replace the breakfast
videoengine. Breakfast has presets for the AppleTV, but I am not aware that the
transcoding machine does. I like the extra flexibility of the transcoding
machine in that I can use any HandBrakeCLI command line args that I want to
use. But, how do I determine what args to use? I would like to convert video to
mp4 for the AppleTV, and, on occasion, to mp4 with deinterlacing (also for the
ATV).

Here is what is already in the prefs for the arguments:

-i |INPUT| -o |OUTPUT| -e x264 -q 0.589999973773956 -a 1,1 -E faac,ac3 -B
160,auto -R 48,Auto -6 dpl2,auto -f mp4 -4 -X 1280 -P --strict-anamorphic -x
level=30:cabac=0:ref=3:mixed-refs=1:bframes=6:weightb=1:direct=auto:no-fast-pski
p=1:me=umh:subq=7:analyse=all

Does transcoding machine use prefs already set in breakfast?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
v 1.0 on 10.6.4

The defaults are what I use for my Apple TVs and differ from the handbrake
Apple TV preset in the output size, I allow up to 720p in those prefs.
