What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install 18 or more titles to the Wii
2. In priiloader, select Launch Title

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect: A list of all the titles installed.
Instead: Code Dump

What version of priiloader are you using? On what ios/system menu?
Priiloader v0.8(beta v4)
IOS v70
System Menu v481 (4.2U)

Do you have any IOS patches installed? (if so which ios and what patch?)
If required, please explain how to the information find if possible.

What are your wii system menu settings
If required, please explain how to the information find if possible.

Just a slight annoyance I discovered when installing another VC title. I can
manage what is installed fine so no big deal, but would appreciate a fix.

one of the titles is causing the crash. try and figure out which one and let me
know which one (or direct me in the direction of the title so i can reproduce).

also, what are your video settings?

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
Looks like it was Hulu. I forgot I even had that installed.

Here are my video settings anyway:
Screen Format - Widescreen (16:9)
Screen Resolution - Normal (480i)
Screen Burn-in Reduction - Off
(those are the right ones right?)

I extracted the wad from my NAND backup and when I try to install it I get
error 1022 in MMM. I guess it was just a bad download from the shop channel.
Those aren't uncommon for me.

I try to download it again but the shop channel gives me error 204036. I
modified the NUSDownloader database to add the Hulu Plus channel, but I don't
know how, or if it is even possible, to decrypt the contents to .app files to
pack a new wad file.

I'm attaching the .tmd for the Hulu Plus channel. Maybe it can help you with
something.

well, i dont know what the content of the wads look like but 1022 means the
sha1 hash in the tmd are different from the actual contents SHA1 hash. meaning
the tmd is referring to different data. i also dont know if the hulu channel is
free ? i guess not as the ticket is not on the nusd for free...
it wont show up on mine probably because of the region of my wii.

It is free and it is US only. The whole not having a ticket thing on nusd is
kind of weird.

Anyway, I restored my nand, uninstalled the channel again but was able to
download it from the shop channel this time. I'm making another NAND backup and
should be able to extract the wad from it. I'll email it to you if it installs
with a wad manager.

its weird cause nusd says it can't find the ticket. and sadly i forgot the
links in nus to get a direct link to the ticket. in either case, if you can get
a wad and email it i would be happy :)

well, i got the wad, installed it and i had no issues in priiloader (same video
settings and all ) :/

launching channel in priiloader gets black screen, from SM i get "title can not
be launched" not sure if the title is fucked or its refusing to boot deu to a
different region :) but in either case the title's information is good so idk
what caused your crash there :/

I'd have to guess it refuses to work due to region. I can launch it from both
the system menu and priiloader and it runs fine, installed with the wad I sent
you.

Honestly, at this point I think it has to do with my nand. It's crashing with
>17 titles installed but with Hulu not installed now. The wad for the Hulu
channel I got from this nand's backup was the corrupt one, and when I used a
fresh nand using Ohneschwanzenegger I was able to get the working wad.

I'm just going to start over with a fresh nand and see what happens.

The fresh nand works fine with all the same titles installed.

im guessing some title information got corrupted. i wonder which one and how.
ill close this as its done but ill look a closer look at my code to look at any
code that could crash if it is handling unexpected data
