that is very odd, what are your wii settings/setup? and what happens if you
actually press eject? :/

I fave found another bug, when I start Wii with inserted SD card and gecko to
sd output enabled and T press reset I see a priiloader menu for like 0.1 second
and the it crash dumps (DSI), but without the sd card it works (just like in
issue 177). I am using common 2GB transcend micro sd card in adapter.

I looks like the logging starts before the sd card is mounted. Priiloader wants
to access the sd card, but it isnt mounted so it code dumps.

as for the DSI dump, dont worry about that. its indeed a different issue and a
hard one at that. i can't figure out what is happening. i haven't heard
anything from megazig who looked into the issue once and found out what is
making it dump but not why the memory looks like it does when it dumps.
as for the issue at hand, with no hacks enabled it does it as well doesn't it?

Original comment by luki...@seznam.cz

It also happens with my black wii. It started immediately after first complete
softmod of my wii (about 2 years ago) and never stopped. But until now I didn't
know it wasn't supposed to. I can send you my log/syscheck if you'd like.

grmz. well, if you could somehow figure out in what version of priiloader it
started i could look at the code to see if i did anything wrong in a small
change or something :/
im also including a dol which is the current state of priiloader (some minor
changes since the latest beta which could change behaviour idk).
http://upload.dacotaco.com/priiloader_snapshot_27_10_2012.dol
rename that to bool.dol and install it :)

I have tried this dol, but it sill does that annoying sound and i dont remember
when it started. If you liked, i could record that sound for you.
Original comment by luki...@seznam.cz
on 27 Oct 2012 at 9:03
not needed, cause i understand just fine what sound you mean. like i said i'd
would be great if you could try earlier versions to see if it started in a
recent version (like 0.6 or 0.7 or something )

Is it safe to use 0.5, 0.4 ... on 4.3E menu?
Original comment by luki...@seznam.cz
on 28 Oct 2012 at 12:27
0.5 is never safe, 0.4 is ok. i wouldn't go much lower then 0.4 tho. also, i
was wondering what happens if you press eject in system menu? what happens then?
Original comment by dac...@gmail.com
on 28 Oct 2012 at 12:42
Well when booting, it is like inserting+ejecting disc drive sounds subsequently
and when I press eject in menu it does just the ejecting sound.
0.4 does the sound too.
Original comment by luki...@seznam.cz
on 28 Oct 2012 at 12:57
it does the ejecting sound and does it stop then or go back to the regular
sound? and what happens if there is a disc inside? and can you even boot a disc?
Original comment by dac...@gmail.com
on 28 Oct 2012 at 1:04
Yes it dous the "wierd" ejecting sound only on booting, in menu it does the
normal ejecting sound and if i put a disk into shutdowned wii it boots up
normally, I can play dick games without problems.
Original comment by luki...@seznam.cz
on 28 Oct 2012 at 1:11
I press the power button on the wii/wii remote and the "wierd" sound occurs.
Original comment by luki...@seznam.cz
on 28 Oct 2012 at 2:16
so it only happens if
1) the wii is powered on
2) there is no disc in drive
3) it stops once in menu?
4) it stops when you press eject once?
if i get it correctly?
Original comment by dac...@gmail.com
on 28 Oct 2012 at 3:25
1)yes
2)yes
3)i suppose no, it stops automatically after 2 or 3 seconds (when I press
reset, the priiloader menu appears just after it stops otherwise it loads to
system menu)
4)no, see above
(Sorry for bad english)

well is it possible to set autoboot to System menu, and record a video of the
wii while its powering on ? that way i can know around which time that should
be. also, i find it weird it only happens when priiloader is installed

is it ok?
Original comment by luki...@seznam.cz
on 1 Nov 2012 at 4:59
ye i wouldn't care much about the blue bar. as for the ecject sound; if i hear
it correctly it even makes the sound when SM is booted? hmz, not sure what the
problem is :/ ill see if i can do a few things when i have time...
Original comment by dac...@gmail.com

Yes it makes the sound every time the wii is powered on.
Original comment by luki...@seznam.cz
on 2 Nov 2012 at 2:44
just a question, but does it matter if you shutdown from official code (SM ,
wiiware or a game booted from disc. not iso or usb, i mean a physical disc) or
does it always happen no matter what was booted when the wii is shut down?
