Most people don't need the functionality of the evaluation scripts and only desire to use the centrifuge binaries. However, the conda recipe restricts environments to python 2 or less in order to use the eval scripts.
Could you either change the recipe to not have python requirements or add another recipe that doesn't include the eval scripts? We would like to include Centrifuge in our workflow, however not having a conda recipe available is a huge roadblock.
