Attempting to connect to a server #23

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Give the reference database fields a valid server address, and login
information, using SQL Server authentication.
2. Click to expand the blank database dropdown.
3. You will see the error.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect it to either find databases on the server I give it, or if
information was entered in error, error gracefully.  Instead I see "an
error has occurred" and error output.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
v0.4, Windows XP

A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a
