I don't know if this is standard, but here it is downloading in .ts and adding .mp4 as an extension, I'm using FormatFactory 4.6.1 to convert to .mp4 without losing quality, just set the audio and video settings to "copy"
This issue is still not fixed but I have found a way to deal with it. The video does get saved but when trying to play the video back with QuickTime it does not work. To deal with this I get the video and put it into a video converter app. Be prepared to wait for at least thirty (30) minutes and make sure to convert it to mp4. If the video is already marked as mp4 still convert it to mp4.

With format factory and selecting "copy" settings, you transform to mp4 in seconds, losing the minimum of quality (aprox. 100kbps bit rate), in addition to several other functions such as merge videos without losing quality as well.
But if you just want to convert it to .mp4 without losing quality, you also have this free program https://www.pazera-software.com/
Hi, I'm a complete noob when it comes to code but I got it to work. I'm using this with macOS, my issue is that when I try to play the video back on QuickTime it will not play. The video plays perfectly when used with VLC, I don't know if something in the code can be changed so that it works with QuickTime as well.
