On the quest Regroup! (https://www.wowhead.com/quest=29694/regroup) the "quest marker" on the map (M) first hints at Shademaster Kiryn's Position.
Then it doesnt update after rescueing her.
When going closer to Sergeant Gorrok, the marker will update to his position after reopening the map.
But when going back closer to the position Shademaster Kiryn was, the indicator will be on her position again even tho she's already been rescued.
It seems to me those markers only show the closest (?) objective, no matter if it's been achieved or not.
To reproduce, just take the quest and rescue Kirin.
Edit: Funnily enough after rescueing Kirin and Gorrok, i rescued Rivett and even while standing next to Rivett, the marker updated to Shokias position. Guess my theory wasnt right after all..
