Update's Travis configuration so CI tests can pass again

hm... the dpkg issue should be solved by using a newer version than Ubuntu 14. I remember running into that, probably here I tried that in #52 but that seems to crash somehow while things don't crash in adapter (which however doesn't use the start-chrome but prefers other options)

Wanna squash or shall I squash-merge?
