6 years ago Check whether the knots are in the same place for each species: if not this is going to cause problems, and you'll need to aggregate up to a grid first and then go from there, rather than snapping to nearest knot
[ ] shift vast to single species mode
[ ] for everything except the west coast, set overdispersion config to 0,0
[ ] increase the number of knots for all of the surveys
[ ] check the qqplot and performance plots for subsamples of species
[ ] send a sample of diagnostics and maps to Jim
